It’s a bummer to spend all the effort to get into shape for high school football if you don’t get results. I was 25% body fat. I needed to cut fat and build muscle for the season.
Before I found FITTUR I wasn’t really paying attention to what I was eating. I sort of knew I needed protein. That’s what everyone says about lifting weights. But cutting fat and building muscle is a lot more than just a trip to Chick Fillet and a chocolate protein shake after a workout.
That’s where FITTUR comes in. The app showed me I was eating too many calories. That’s where my 25% body fat came from. The app also showed me I was eating foods with almost no fiber—lots of junk food without any vitamins and a ton of calories.
FITTUR figured out the right amount of calories, carbs, protein, fat and fiber I needed to get leaner and stronger. I started tracking the food I ate. I was dying at first. I was used to eating whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted it.
The more I tracked, the more I could see what was in the food I ate. And once I figured out what was in my food, I started making better choices.
I stuck it out and the results have been amazing. My body composition is completely different. I’m down to 16% body fat, but my weight has actually increased. Which means I’ve put on some decent muscle. FITTUR got me ready for the football season.
